This August 1, 2024, marks the birth of the NGO UMPIWE (Uman n Pikin Welbodi), aimed at improving access to quality healthcare for women and children in Sierra Leone. We will do everything possible to open a health center offering various quality services to the population (child monitoring and vaccination, pregnancy and postpartum care, family planning, youth and adolescent friendly services, cervical cancer screening, follow-up of malnourished children, etc.).
Through the services we wish to offer to the population, we emphasize prevention actions because it is the best way to empower people to take charge of their own health and that of their children. Above all, women and children in Sierra Leone have a fundamental right to health, defined by the WHO as “a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
Together, let us make this fundamental right accessible to the women and children of Sierra Leone.

Félicitations pour votre initiative et nous vous souhaitons beaucoup de satisfaction dans votre projet.
