In June 2025, Osman, our Health Promotion and Community Engagement Officer, and Sarah, physician and founder of UMPIWE, visited the heads of various health posts located in two chiefdoms in the Magburaka region. Their goal: to assess their needs on the ground and identify potential locations for future mobile clinics.
Some villages are located a considerable distance from the nearest health center, and access becomes particularly challenging during the rainy season, making it difficult for existing health facilities to carry out regular medical visits.
