On March 8, 2025, to mark International Women’s Day, Ladies Circle 5 Luxembourg — a group of dynamic, committed young women determined to make a difference both locally and globally — organized a special “Creators Circle” event at Machera in Grevenmacher (Luxembourg).
On this occasion, Isabelle showcased her unique creations made from wax fabrics brought back from Sierra Leone, while Jacques had the opportunity to present UMPIWE and its projects to the public.
We had the great honor of being selected as one of the two beneficiaries of this solidarity event. Thanks to the generosity of the Ladies, UMPIWE received a donation of €4,000, which will be used to purchase medical equipment for women and children in the Magburaka region of Sierra Leone.
We were deeply touched by their warm welcome and sincere commitment. We thank them wholeheartedly for this tangible and meaningful gesture — one that brings both hope and solidarity in the face of a reality that is very close to our hearts.
